All Saints Church is a welcoming community of people who gather to enjoy each other’s company and worship together on Sundays and Wednesdays.
We would love to welcome you to our Church community.
Our services are:
11.15 am on Sunday Mornings – using Common Worship as our basis, we have a mix of Holy Communion, Services of the Word and All Age Services. We follow a sermon series in our preaching, but also pick-up on the Church Festivals so as to follow the Church Clendar throughout the year. This service followed by a cup of tea/coffee and biscuits with time to sit and chat.
10.30am on Wednesday Mornings – normally 1st & 2nd Wednesdays are BCP Communion (led by our Team Clergy), 3rd Wednesdays is BCP Morning Prayer (led by our Team Curate) and 4th Wednesdays are a Reserved Sacrament Service based on Common Worship Order 2 (led by our lay Eucharistic Minister) (NB The established routine does occasionally have to change to accommodate other Church or personal needs).
3.30pm on the 4th Wednesday of each month (except August and December), we hold our Messy Church service – this is Family Worship, enabling Parents/Carers to worship Jesus together using Craft activities based on a bible story. Children can come with a Parent/Carer straight from school and snacks and a drink are provided.
Other special services particular to the season are held as appropriate and details can be found on the Church Noticeboard. These include Christmas Eve 4pm Crib Service & 11.30pm Midnight Communion, Ash Wednesday 10.30am Ashing Service, and ‘An Hour at the Cross’ at 2pm on Good Friday.
Our Social Times:
On Wednesday morning the All Saints Cafe is open from 11am, with hot drinks, toast or cheese-on-toast being made to order.
We also hold regular seasonal Fayres, Bingo evenings and Festival meals. The Notice board outside All Saints will display the details as these come up.
Every Wednesday 8th St. Helens meets at All Saints Church. This is led by Mrs. Jennifer Hart who can be contacted through the Church or Parish Office.
On Monday afternoons we also hold a Gentle Exercise Class. This is led by Mrs. Barbara Johnson who can be contacted through the Church or Parish Office.
